Farfill Context privacy policy

1. About the extension

Farfill Context is an internal Chrome extension for Farfill warehouse and operations staff. It shows Farfill information beside Mintsoft order pages and helps staff pack B2B orders. It is not for use by the public, and it needs a Farfill account. Our general privacy policy covers our website and services.

2. What it reads

• Mintsoft pages (om.mintsoft.co.uk): the order or product identifier, order reference and client name on the page, and on packing pages the items, quantities, box contents, weights and batch and expiry details. It never reads recipients' names, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses.
• The signed-in Mintsoft user: the user ID, email address and company that Mintsoft already includes in the page, so packing records show who packed an order.
• Equipment the user connects: weight readings from a USB scale and, on packing desks, a camera preview used for a setup check. Camera images stay on the computer and are not uploaded by the extension.

3. What it sends, and where

Data goes only to Farfill's own service (app.farfill.it) over HTTPS, using the employee's existing Farfill sign-in or a packing desk's Farfill-issued credential. It is used to show order information, record packing (cartons, pallets, weights and batches) and keep an audit trail of who did what.

The extension does not send data to Mintsoft or any third party, and does not use analytics or advertising.

4. What it stores on the computer

Settings (such as whether the computer is a packing desk), packing changes waiting to be saved and, on packing desks, the Farfill station credential. These stay in Chrome's extension storage on that computer and are removed when the extension is uninstalled. It never stores Mintsoft passwords or cookies.

5. Sharing and retention

We do not sell this data or share it outside Farfill. Records saved in Farfill are kept for as long as we need them to run and audit our fulfilment operations.
